In Poland, firefighters faced a tough battle with a fire that just wouldn’t stay out.
A driver in a Lucid Air was trying to avoid a crash but ended up hitting a pole, and the car battery caught fire. Even though many firefighters tried hard, the fire kept coming back, causing delays to public transportation and igniting debates about how to deal with fires in electric cars.
In this case, a video shows the Lucid catching fire again even though it looked like the fire was out. Also, because electric vehicle batteries are difficult to put out, a firefighter is shown trying to spray water on the car when it catches fire again.
Reportedly, the driver got medical help, but thankfully, it seems they weren’t seriously hurt.
But there’s some hope in all the chaos. As technology improves and firefighters learn more, accidents like these should happen less often. It’s not just Lucid, even companies like Tesla have had similar incidents before. It’s a reminder that we should progress and keep moving forward while working on solving such issues.
